Hi, I’m Kate (Miss One Eighty), the creator of One Eighty Collective. I started One Eighty a few years ago during the lockdowns as a way to help myself through depression by painting mantras—finally saying something positive to myself and pushing through the darkness. I’ve been lucky enough to travel the east coast of Australia with my art and even host my first solo exhibition. While calligraphy is a big part of my life, I also work as a graphic and web designer in Melbourne and host calligraphy workshops from time to time.

Each piece I create features powerful quotes and mantras that reflect life’s challenges, written in my distinctive typography and woven throughout the artwork.
